When you have a sense of self-love, you understand your own value and treat yourself in a loving way.
You have appreciation and a positive regard for yourself.
You don't beat yourself up for being human.
Healthy self-love is NOT excessive self-absorption and self-interest.
Healthy self-love is NOT thinking you're better than anyone else.
Loving yourself means you have an understanding of your strengths AND your weaknesses.
We are socialized to believe we need to earn love through actions and achievements.
Media and advertising tells us that we need to change ourselves to be enough, worthy, and lovable.
I used to believe that if I loved myself, I wouldn't actually go after my dreams.
The opposite is true...
When you love yourself, you have more bravery to create what you want.
For people who've gone through difficult relationships or other painful experiences, learning to love yourself for the first time OR love yourself again doesn't have to be hard.
Healthy self-love is a learnable skill.
In this Workshop, learn a new, gentle, and compassionate way to practice and expand the skill of self-love through simple doodles and color.
When you love yourself, it's much easier to make time for what's really important to you, to set boundaries, stop beating yourself up, love others, and even let love back into your life.
Many people find it difficult to grow self-love.
It’s no surprise in a culture where institutions and businesses earn more profit by constantly emphasizing our incompleteness and deficiencies.
Follow along step-by-step to paint your Doodle Self-Portrait.
You can do this, even if you've never drawn a straight line.
Doodle Loves Notes began as a way for me to create some light during the hard times.
They helped me build the skill of self-love within myself after years of self-loathing.
Over the years, they evolved into a way to communicate with myself, loved ones, with clients, and even strangers.
In this lesson, learn the elements of a Doodle Love Note.
We'll create 3 Doodle Love Notes together:

In this bonus lesson, you'll create a doodle of what you want to create in your future.
This is similar to what elite athletes do visualizing themselves achieving their goals to stay focused.
This is especially helpful for people who have difficulty visualizing. You can play with doodles to gain clarity and create a powerful visual representation.
This is how I've been able to create a business and life I love.
Why Simple Creativity?
The simple creativity used in Heartwork Journaling helps engage all of your brain and your heart. Doodles give you an observer perspective of yourself and others. This perspective is very helpful for personal growth work.
NOTE: No art experience is needed. This isn't about your artwork, it's about your Heartwork.
Supplies Needed:
All you really need is paper and a pen. However, if you want to play full out and do the simple creativity - which I encourage - you'll get a simple supply list after enrolling.
You don't need to get fancy supplies, inexpensive supplies are all you need.
This work isn't about your artwork it's about your Heartwork.
